How to find us
Arriving at Frankfurt Airport
The most convenient connection from Frankfurt airport to Darmstadt is the airport shuttle called HEAG Airliner between Frankfurt Airport and Darmstadt Main Station, leaving in front of both terminals every 30 minutes during the day. A brochure including a time table can be downloaded here. From Darmstadt Main Station, follow the directions in the next paragraph.
Arriving by train at Darmstadt Main Station
You can take either
- tram line 2 direction "Böllenfalltor", exit at "Schloß" or
- tram line 3 direction "Lichtenbergschule", exit at "Willy-Brandt-Platz" or
- tram line 5 direction "Kranichstein", exit at "Luisenplatz" or
- bus line K direction "Lichtwiese", exit at "Schloß" or
- bus line H direction "Kesselhutweg", exit at "Schloß".
If you travel by car
- Leave motorway A5 at exit Darmstadt/Weiterstadt towards B42:
coming from the North: take the second descend and keep right onto B42;
coming from the South: take the first descend and keep right onto B42. - Follow B42 for 3,4 km.
- Turn left at Pallaswiesenstraße/B3/B42 (signs for Heidelberg/Aschaffenburg/Stadtmitte).
- Follow Pallaswiesenstaße for 1,1 km.
- Turn right at Schloßgartenplatz, bending left at church Elisabethenkirche into Schloßgartenstraße.
- Follow Schloßgartenstraße (400 m) to Kantplatz/Pankratiusstraße .
- Turn left into Pankratiusstraße and after only 5 m turn left into the small passage (our place is the second building on the right).
